This is a brilliant role working with a brand new client of ours. This business is made up of industry leaders in Energy and they collectively invest literally billions in low carbon solutions. Their mission is clear and they want a first class Event Manager who thrives of this kind of impact driven environment.

You will have sole responsibility for their Global Portfolio of events which includes managing their C-Suite members sponsorship and attendance at various industry leading events across the globe. So you will be managing all of their logistics, speakers, sponsorship, ancillary events and stand builds. There will be a huge amount of moving parts and multiple stakeholders to manage. You will also work closely with the CMO to identify other key industry events and develop opportunities for the company to have a presence.

Solid experience in managing the participation of senior professionals at third party industry conferences is essential, as is experience in international events and VVIP security/protocol. This would suit a “roll up your sleeves” type person as you will be the sole events specialist (as part of the marketing team) so you will be responsible for day to day delegate management for instance, as well as all the more high level/strategic duties.
