We’re looking to speak with some superstar Event Sales Managers who have a proven track record selling stands & sponsorship packages into the Exhibition & Conferencing market.
Who will I be working with?
- A small but awesome privately owned event business that has operated in the cultural sector for the past 30 years
- A tight knit team of 5 people who range in skill and expertise in event delivery, content, marketing, advertising and sales
What do they do?
- Own and deliver a range of events for the cultural sector in the UK which include an exhibition & awards dinner and publish their own magazine online
- They work with anyone who touches the cultural sector from exhibition planners to technical & production houses to companies supplying merchandise centres sell – it’s a huge pool to say the least!
What will I be doing?
- Ultimately responsible for the sales process which is focused on bringing in sponsors and exhibitor stands for an annual series of events
- Leveraging existing relationships and building on an existing CRM of current clients, prospects and new leads that you source
What do they need from me?
- Happy with a remote role and the autonomy that brings with it
- Experience selling in the exhibition market – both stands & sponsor packages
- An interest in the cultural sector will be a bonus
- Likes working in a consultative way and not a pure phone hammerer - although you will need to make some phone calls - you know what I mean!
